Welcome back!!
-As a club, we have decided to visit both the Wolf Sanctuary in Eureka, MO and the Tiger Sanctuary in St. Genevieve, MO. Part of the fees for each visit will be paid with the club funds. The dates and times were voted on during the meeting.
-We will be taking a private tour of the Wolf Sanctuary on Saturday, March 1st. It costs $20 per person, and will last 2 hours. We will receive a tour guide for our group alone, and have access to the more exclusive areas of the sanctuary. We will leave from SEMO at 9 am.
-We will be taking a tour of the Tiger Sanctuary on Saturday, April 5th. It costs $10 per person, and will last 45 minutes. We will leave from SEMO at 1 pm.
-Lauren sent an email to the t-shirt company a few days ago, and she is waiting for a reply. An email will be sent to everyone when she hears back from them about details and cost.
-Mizzou Vet School Rep, Doug Tindall, has contacted us and is wanting to visit us again at our meeting on February 19th (those of you that were here last year probably remember him). Due to the fact that he will be taking up the entire hour, we will be having a second meeting in February. It will be held on February 26th, same time, same room.
-We are still working on setting up a Resume Building Workshop with representatives from Career Linkages, so stay tuned.
-Alex will be contacting her bird vet about coming to speak to our club later in the year.
-Cape Humane Society and Mississippi Mutts are collecting plastic water bottles, so if you have a chance, you can stop by and give them your water bottles.
-Our next MEETINGS will be on February 19th and February 26th.
